High Court Rules, Life Without Parole for Juveniles is Unconstitutional

The United States Supreme Court ruled an Alabama law that gave juveniles convicted of murder mandatory life sentences without the possibility of parole was unconstitutional.  Justice Elena Kagan wrote the law violates the eight amendment - a ban on cruel and unusal punishment.  To read full article click here.
